Hopi Ear Candles

Hopi Ear Candles soothe the head and ears and calm the mind.  Ear candles have been used by many cultures as an effective natural therapy since ancient times.  The Hopi Ear Candles are cylindrical with a hollow centre and no wick inside.   Once lit, a light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the Ear candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum.   This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses.

What does a Hopi Ear Candle Treatment involve?

Before the treatment, I will complete a client consultation form.  You will then be asked to lie down on your side on the couch.  The ear candle will be lit and place in the entrance to the ear canal of one of your ears.  The ear candle will slowly burn down which will take approximately ten minutes. The client will hear a slight sizzling noise as the ingredients in the candle burn.  Once this has been completed on each ear, a face massage will be completed.
